We are GFWC Contemporary Women of North County, part of an international group of women volunteers.  Our group is made up of women of all ages who share an interest in volunteering for a variety of causes in our community and meeting women with similar interests. We also have fun social events, two book clubs (daytime & evening) and craft (sewing, crocheting & knitting) activities.

We had an extremely successful sew-in on April 2.  Our group of 25 women made 54 hospital gowns for children receiving surgeries for cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities through Operation Smile.  Our sew-ins are always lots of fun and leave us all with a feeling of accomplishment.  Join us at our next one on June 25 at 8:30 am at the San Marcos Community Center.  Contact Marianne for information.
