We are GFWC Contemporary Women of North County, part of an international group of women volunteers.  Our group is made up of women of all ages who share an interest in volunteering for a variety of causes in our community and meeting women with similar interests. We also have fun social events, two book clubs (daytime & evening) and craft (sewing, crocheting & knitting) and many other fun activities.

Check our Calendar of Events for upcoming events

Please take a look around our website to see all the wonderful volunteer opportunities we have to help local charities and non-profit organizations in the North County of San Diego. We also have a lot of fun at our social events throughout the year where you can meet new friends.  All of us enjoy giving back to our community and would  love to have you attend a couple of meetings and participate in one of our volunteer or social events to see if we are what you are looking for.

We will be holding our June Sew In on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 8:30 am to Noon at the San Marcos Community Center.  Our members, and others interested in helping, gather to iron, sew and stuff cute stuffed bears to be given to the Vista Community Clinic  to provide some degree of comfort for the children receiving medical or dental treatment.  We would love to have you join us.  If you are interested, please call Kathy M at 760-717-3046 for more information.
