Dear Ann,

 School is going very well I have taken some classes one was counseling and it was very beneficial. It helped find a mentor. My mentor is a woman named Alketa and she is the Dean of Psychology. She has been helping me get closer to my dream. This wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. I have been able to use the scholarship for my books, school supplies, and get my classes. Thank you so much for believing in me.

Adopt a Soldier participant

“Penny,

 I recently received a package from you and your woman’s group.  I just wanted to tell you thank you and say how much I appreciate getting the package.  I apologize for the tardiness of my reply; I received the package about a week or two ago and have been away and pretty busy work wise.  I would love to be your groups sponsored soldier.  All of the items within the package were put to good use, especially the snacks.  Tell my aunt Lisa and uncle Wes that I say hello the next time you see them, I recon you’ll see my aunt before him though.  Again, thank you for the package and the opportunity to be your sponsored soldier, I appreciate it.  Tell all those who contributed to the package thank you for me.
